The Fabless Complete Bundle Hydraulic Clutch Conversion Kit for the LHD MK2 Platform is 100% bolt on and utilizes the factory MK2 pedal assembly. The kit comes with everything you need for the conversion. The hydraulic line runs through pre-existing holes in the lower part of the firewall near the brake booster. No cutting, no drilling, no swapping out pedal assemblies.
The kit includes an additional bracket to mount a brake fluid reservoir under the dash. This enables the clutch system to run independently of the main brake fluid reservoir and allows for easier bleeding of the system. The fluid reservoir may look small, but it holds enough fluid for the clutch displacement with a safe buffer.
This is our newest design, where the main clutch bracket now includes added rigidity and strength to support the added force on the pedal assembly. This new design strengthens the bracket, but this does not remove the need to reinforce the welds on your pedal assembly, noted in the instructions.
